§ 1. Municipal corporation continued; name and style; general rights, privileges and authority.

The City of Manassas, notwithstanding any other provision of law, shall be and continue a municipal corporation under the name and style of the City of Manassas, clothed with all of the rights, privileges and authority granted it under this Charter or by the general laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
